Great stay for LSU games!

I stayed for 3 nights while visiting my son at LSU. The decor is super nice and the staff is super friendly. Breakfast was tasty, and the room was spotless. The only thing missing was a microwave, which would’ve been handy. Really close to good restaurants too, so that’s a plus!

I had such a blast at this spot! The lobby was super clean and fun with a pool table, which my kids loved. Plus, the breakfast was actually decent with lots of choices. Just a heads up—rooms were a bit cramped, and the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I hoped.

The queen room was super clean with great amenities like a refrigerator, desk, and free toiletries. Loved the shower pressure and the privacy curtain! The fitness center was handy. The outdoor swimming pool was a nice touch for relaxing. Breakfast had a nice variety of items, including yogurt and boiled eggs.

I loved the modern decor of Tru By Hilton Baton Rouge Citiplace. it was stylish and welcoming. The common areas were spacious and easy to navigate, making it comfortable for seniors like me to explore.

The location felt convenient for getting around Baton Rouge. The housekeeping staff were nice and responsive, which made my stay feel a bit more pleasant. I stayed in a King Room for three nights. However, there were some issues during my visit. The shower lacked body wash, and hand soap was minimal. I reported this, but it was a hassle. It would have been helpful to know that the ice machine was only on the first floor. Ice buckets weren't in the room either, making it inconvenient. Breakfast options seemed too processed and the limited variety was disappointing.

The hotel offered a great atmosphere with a pleasant smell upon entering, and I loved the clean, modern rooms. However, noise was an issue, with sounds from neighboring rooms being quite disruptive. It's worth considering, but there are definitely improvements needed in sound insulation.
